Samkun Century Co., Ltd. celebrated the 34th anniversary on 11th of Nov. 2023. We had prepared an event to congratulate and appreciate the long-term employees who have been striving for the development of the company. ‘ Better safe than sorry’ For the past 34 years of the operation, we have always thoroughly prepared for the future, demonstrating persistent progress and changes. KOMARINE 2023, the only shipbuilding and offshore exhibition representing Korea, was held in BEXCO, Busan for 4 days from October 24 to 27, 2023. Twenty-five countries had participated this year, making it one of the biggest event in the shipbuilding industry. Various events, such as SME export conferences and forums, were held during the exhibition. Gratefully, many guests had visited our booth, which led to a great achievement. Samkun Century presented some of the main items: ARA Plus+ BWMS (Ballast Water Management System) which has obtained USCG(United States Coast Guard), the New G8 type approval, and RO fresh water generator, as well as, various coating pipes, etc. It was a great opportunity to let not only domestic and international shipyards but also ship owners know the excellence of our products.  Korea Research Institute for defense Technology planning and advancement (KRIT) and Gyeongsangnam-do Province has established Gyeongnam national Defense Venture Center on September, 2009. It dedicates to discover small and venture businesses with advanced technology, and makes business agreements to support their technology improvement and its commercialization. June 1st, 2023, Samkun Century has been newly recognized for its technology which is applicable for national defense industry and the agreement ceremony has been conducted in the venture center. Our excellent special surface treatment technology and water treatment technology to the defense sector will be applied for its industry. We expect to contribute to the development of the defense industry through the development and distribution of defense equipment with guaranteed safety and reliability in future.

On the Feb 24th, 2023, JungIl Kang, CEO of Samkun Century, was awarded by the Ministor of Trade, Industry and Energy during assembly of Busan Marine Equipment Association. He is recognized for his contribution in national development progress by consistent improvement in technology and promoting active exports, in the marine shipbuilding & equipment industry.

In memory of the foundation day, we had the meaningful time to celebrate our executives and staff members who have devoted to growth of our company for a long time. GREEN & OFFSHORE KOREA 2022 exhibition with ecofriendly offshore energy was held in BEXCO, Busan for 3days from October 12 to 14. Marine equipment companies with excellent technologies from various countries participated. The exhibition was held with scale about 11 countries, 150 companies and 400 booths. And many visitors, approaching 10,000 persons, visited the exhibition. Also, during this exhibition, an international green offshore plant technology conference and Global Offshore & Marine Plaza(GOMP) was held under the theme of “Green Offshore: Challenges & Innovations”. In Samkun Century, we had an opportunity to promote our excellent technology by exhibiting ARA Plus ⁺  BWMS (Ballast Water Management System), Water Treatment Equipment, RO Type Fresh Water Generator, various coating technologies, and cryogenic insulation.  Extract AVING news press release on 12th Oct. 2022 Samkun Century, announcing the water treatment system at the GREEN & OFFSHORE KOREA 2022 exhibition, “Providing clean drinking water!” Samkun Century participated in '2022 GREEN & OFFSHORE KOREA 2022' held in BEXCO, Busan for 3days from October 12 to 14 and introduced a water treatment system.   The Fresh Water Supply Unit, a water treatment system introduced at this exhibition, supplies fresh, warm and cold drinking water for the crew. It consists of technical system of Sterilizer, Hydrophore tank, Calorifier, Re-hardening filter(mineralizer) and pumps.   It contains auto filter can automatically backwash fresh water made by fresh water generator. And it has filters that are easy to replace for rehardening filter, UV sterilizer. Also an energy-saving hydrophore tank and Samkun Century’s proprietary PE inner coating pipes are applied.   Also Samkun Century develops LNG & LPG cryogenic insulation. Com

Komarin 2021, the only shipbuilding and offshore exhibition representing Korea, was held at BEXCO, Busan for a total of 4 days from October 19 to 22, 2021. This year, over 700 companies participated in the 35,000 sqm exhibition hall, which was held at the world's highest level in the shipbuilding industry. During the exhibition, various events such as SME export conferences and forums were held, and many results were achieved. Samkun Century exhibited ARA PLUS BWTS (Ballast Water Treatment System), RO fresh water generator, various coating pipes and insulation, etc. and made good impression on not only domestic and overseas shipyards but also shipowners.
