  ARA Plus⁺ BWMS is the ballast water management system using both filters and UV modules. The floating particles of dust and living creatures more than 50μm are removed by filters and those of less than 50μm are sterilized by UV modules so that its performance of BWMS can be maximized. ARA Plus⁺ BWMS not only can perfectly sterilize in the high turbidity or contaminated water but also is eco-friendly products without using neutralizing agent. As the result, we have gained the reputation from both the domestic markets and shipyards and shipowners around the world. The processed sea water stores in the ballast water tank, it discharges into the sea after having the additional process by filters and UV modules. Unlike other ballast water management system, ARA Plus⁺ BWMS provides the best engineering for ship installation by performing the same process for inflow and outflow of sea water with a compact design. Samkun Century Co., Ltd. celebrated the 34th anniversary on 11th of Nov. 2023. KOMARINE 2023, the only shipbuilding and offshore exhibition representing Korea, was held in BEXCO, Busan for 4 days from October 24 to 27, 2023. Twenty-five countries had participated this year, making it one of the biggest event in the shipbuilding industry. Various events, such as SME export conferences and forums, were held during the exhibition. Gratefully, many guests had visited our booth, which led to a great achievement. Samkun Century presented some of the main items: ARA Plus+ BWMS (Ballast Water Management System) which has obtained USCG(United States Coast Guard), the New G8 type approval, and RO fresh water generator, as well as, various coating pipes, etc. It was a great opportunity to let not only domestic and international shipyards but also ship owners know the excellence of our products.  Korea Research Institute for defense Technology planning and advancement (KRIT) and Gyeongsangnam-do Province has established Gyeongnam national Defense Venture Center on September, 2009. It dedicates to discover small and venture businesses with advanced technology, and makes business agreements to support their technology improvement and its commercialization. June 1st, 2023, Samkun Century has been newly recognized for its technology which is applicable for national defense industry and the agreement ceremony has been conducted in the venture center. Our excellent special surface treatment technology and water treatment technology to the defense sector will be applied for its industry. We expect to contribute to the development of the defense industry through the development and distribution of defense equipment with guaranteed safety and reliability in future.
