Selection of excellent environmental industries in 2018
"ECO-EXPO KOREA 2018" was held at COEX, Seoul from Sep 5th to 8th with t he ministry of Environment (Minister Kim Eun Kyung ) and Korea Environment institue of Technology (President Nam Kwang Hee) . The award ceremony for "2018 Excellent Environment Industry Designation" was held during exhibition, and 10 companies with excellent technology and employment performance was designated as the national representative of the environment field. Samkun Century was also selected as an excellent environmental industry in the water treatment sector in 2018. Designation and support system of excellent environmental industry designated environmental enterprise with great growth potential, this system fosters as a leading company in the field of environment in Korea since 2013. 2018.05 삼건봉사회 농촌일손돕기
삼건세기는 행복한 나눔을 실천하는 사회 공헌활동을 경영의 일부로 인식하고, 이에 앞장서고 있다. 우리 회사의 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 지속적인 나눔 활동을 실시하고 있는 바, 18년 5월, 삼건 봉사회는 밀양의 한 과수농가를 방문하여, 사과 적과(열매 솎기) 작업을 통해 농촌일손 돕기를 실시했다. 일손 돕기에 참여한 직원들은 더운 날씨에도 불구하고, 농가에 조금이라도 보탬이 되고자 사과 적과에 구슬땀을 흘렸다. 농가주는 "아내가 허리를 다쳐 자칫 적과 시기를 놓칠까 염려했었는데, 삼건세기 직원들이 일손을 거들어 주어 고맙고 큰 도움이 됐다. 가을 수확 때도 꼭 와주면 고맙겠다."며 감사의 뜻을 전했다. 아울러 작업 현장에는, 밀양시 산외면 사무소 관계자도 잠시 들러 감사의 마음을 전했다.
