35th Anniversary Overseas Workshop
35th Anniversary Overseas Workshop
To commemorate the 35th anniversary, a group of eight long-serving employees recently participated in a 4-day, 2-night overseas workshop in Macau and Hong Kong.
This workshop was organized as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication and hard work over the years, providing an opportunity to experience diverse cultures and new surroundings. Participants visited major local attractions and landmarks, immersing themselves in the unique culture and enjoying the rich local cuisine.
During the workshop, they strengthened camaraderie with their colleagues, fostering a bond beyond work and gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for one another. It was a meaningful time of encouragement and connection.
------------------------------------- Review -------------------------------------
We departed on a night flight and stayed at a 4-star hotel in Macau on the first day, then began the official sightseeing on the second day.
After crossing the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, we traveled to Hong Kong and took the tram, exploring famous spots like Central, Soho Street, Victoria Peak, and Repulse Bay, enjoying the sights to the fullest.
In the evening, we visited the Mong Kok Night Market to enjoy delicious food and shopping, and had a great time. Before heading back to the hotel, we shared a drink and some casual conversation with the staff, wrapping up the day on a cheerful note.
On the third day, we returned to Macau and explored St. Dominic's Church, St. Paul's Ruins, Jerky/Cookie Street, and the Venetian Resort (casino/shopping). After finishing the day's activities, we boarded a midnight flight back to Korea.
Time flew by so quickly, and it seemed like we all had an unforgettable and joyful trip, laughing all the way 😊
The night views in Hong Kong and Macau were truly spectacular. I highly recommend it to those who haven’t been there yet, if they get the chance.
It was so great that I almost wished we could have stayed another night, but we had to return. This trip gave me the chance to get closer to people I didn’t know well due to different work locations. I’m relieved we all returned safely. A big thank you to everyone who traveled with me!
(And of course, after traveling abroad, you’ve got to come back with both hands full! Feeling quite satisfied 😆)
