36th Anniversary Overseas Workshop in Taiwan
To celebrate the 36th anniversary of Samkun Century, we organized a 4-day Anniversary Overseas Workshop in Taipei, Taiwan to express our gratitude to employees who have dedicated many years to the company.
The excitement of traveling abroad after a long time, combined with the joy of spending time with colleagues, made each day a special and memorable experience.
We wandered through the streets and alleys of Taipei, taking in the new sights and enjoying local delicacies and snacks, making the trip full of continuous delight.
Most importantly, it was a meaningful opportunity to laugh and converse with colleagues we usually see only in the office, allowing us to understand each other better.
Thanks to this trip, the bonds with our colleagues felt even stronger.
Day 1 – Departure & Hotel Arrival
On the first day, we departed from Gimhae Airport and arrived in Taipei.
After taking a bus from the airport to the hotel, we checked in, enjoyed a light meal, and rested to prepare for the next day’s adventures.
Day 2 – Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen, Shifen Sky Lanterns
The second day was dedicated to exploring Taipei’s natural beauty and charming spots.
At Yehliu Geopark, we admired the unique rock formations shaped by the waves and wind over time and were amazed by the beauty of nature.
Next, we strolled through the quaint alleys of Jiufen, picking up souvenirs and sampling local treats.
At Shifen, we released sky lanterns carrying our wishes, and watching them rise into the night sky left a lasting impression.
After dinner, back at the hotel, we enjoyed some drinks together and spent a relaxed evening chatting and laughing.
Day 3 – History, Culture, and Night Market
The third day was all about experiencing Taipei’s history and culture.
We visited Longshan Temple to quietly reflect and wish for each other’s health and well-being.
At the National Palace Museum, we admired artworks that carry centuries of history and culture.
At Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, we enjoyed the grandeur of the site, including the guard-changing ceremony at this memorial dedicated to the former President of Taiwan.
Later, we spent our free time exploring Ximending and the Raohe Street Night Market, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and local delicacies.
Day 4 – Return
Our short but fulfilling trip came to an end as we headed back home.
This journey was more than just sightseeing—it was a valuable opportunity to create memories with colleagues and strengthen our teamwork.
We sincerely thank everyone who participated and look forward to more such meaningful opportunities in the future.
